Good morning!
Text:  Reflection Day
So far in our Bible read through we have covered a lot of territory.  When we get reflection days in the schedule, it is good to pause, go back and revisit the text.  Sometimes we read passages that are so familiar, they just sweep by like the scenery on our daily commute… familiar, common and unnoticed.  Perhaps these words slipped by the first time through:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1).
The truth here are incredible.  We are called and privileged to have a relationship with the Creator of all things, the Lord and ruler of the universe.  That relationship is as a sheep to a shepherd, and it brings all sorts of blessings.  He is always there, watching over us. He leads us in the right paths. When we wander he pursues and rescues us.  When we are hurt, He binds up our wounds.  When we are foolish, He corrects us. When we are in danger, He defends us.  We will never be in want because He provides for our every need, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.  And this relationship is so very personal.  He is my, shepherd.  Is He yours?
