Day 3:  Boys are ahead in Change 4 Change!

  • We are officially over halfway through Camp! What a week we’ve had thus far. We have experienced all sorts of weather, full sun, heavy cloud cover, high humidity, some bouts of rain and even a cool breeze. You’ve got to love New England! The Lord has certainly blessed us this week by allowing us to remain outdoors and marching on with activities as scheduled.
  • As your campers may have made you aware, we announced a ‘Team USA’ theme for FUN FRIDAY as it coincides with the Opening of the Summer Olympics. We ask that your kids come to camp on Friday dressed in any and all RED, WHITE and BLUE apparel. As a reminder, you’re able to join us at 11:30am on Friday to participate in camp close-out activities (soccer and flag football) – 12pm for Cheer and Team 45. We will be hosting a Hot Dog Lunch and snow cones following.
  • As the week has progressed, we have experienced a few incidents with distractions that have been brought into camp inside bags and backpacks, mainly electronics. Please make sure toys, trading cards and electronics are left at home. We are not responsible if anything is lost or damaged. Moving forward, please send snacks and other necessary items in a clear bag as to prevent any issues or further distractions.
  • We pray your children are enjoying themselves and creating lasting friendships with campers and staff alike. We look forward to the remaining time we have with your children and wish you all a safe and happy rest of your Summer!

Day 1:

  • Camp will still march on, rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, we have a contingency plan to retreat indoors. We have been granted access to the School Gymnasium and classroom, if necessary.
  • As you may already be aware, we have a camper that tested positive with Covid-19 after camp this afternoon. This camper will remain home for the rest of the week as a precaution. He was on the basketball team so if any of your campers present with symptoms, please consider keeping your child home until well again.
  • Camper drop off time will remain at 8:30-9am for the rest of the week.  Campers will be released at 12:15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, beginning at 11:30, we will be inviting parents to watch their kids scrimmage (Soccer, Flag Football and Basketball).  Cheer and Team45 presentations begin shortly after noon. Kids will be released at 12:30 on Friday. You are all invited to join us for a Hot Dog Lunch following these festivities.

Week of July 22 – 26
8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (Later on Friday)

The 2024 summer theme is Undefeated, based on Romans 8:37-39: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
