Good morning!

Text: Luke 19-21; Ecclesiastes 4
Each of the Gospels contain a verse that scholars point to as the key to that Gospel author’s theme. In Luke, it is 19:10 –

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Jesus lived, died, rose again, ascended into heaven, and He is there right now.  He has promised to come back, but He is not here yet.  In our life as followers of Jesus we must always remember that we are part of the Body of Christ. We are His hands, eyes, feet, and voice here on earth. Jesus has us here on earth to continue His mission – “to seek and to save the lost.”  This is the main thing.  So, in our life today, are lost people the main thing?  Do we seek after them… to meet and befriend them?  Is their salvation our biggest priority?  If not, then what is?

I am moved to pray for the lost people in my life.  I am moved to pray that I might have more lost people in my life.  I am moved to pray for a great harvest of souls for the Kingdom, Jesus’ Kingdom.
in Him, Mike
