Good morning!
Text:  Galatians 1-3; Psalm 38
Galatians 2:20 is worthy of memorization:

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

If you are a Christian, then the old “you” is long gone.  It has died with Jesus and along with it went slavery to sin and the fear of death, lovelessness, sorrow and despair.  Christ who is now alive in you has replaced all that with freedom from sin and death, love, joy and hope. Moreover, the head of your life is no longer yourself, but Jesus who lives in you. This is an extreme statement of an extreme truth.  The old has gone, the new has come, and the new life is all about Jesus Christ, all the time.  So… given all that, how will you live today?
