Good morning!
Text: John 19-21; Psalm 142
At the close of John’s Gospel, there is a beautiful scene where Jesus restores Peter. Three times, Peter had denied Jesus just before Jesus’ death, and after Jesus’ resurrection, Peter is given the chance to affirm his love for Jesus three times.  As Peter does this, restoration occurs.  Jesus then gives Peter a simple instruction:

And after saying this he said to him, “Follow me.” (John 21:19)

At the beginning of the Gospels, “follow me” is Jesus’ clear command to His followers.  Each of us have been called by Jesus to follow Him.  Our walk with Him is very personal, and it is our individual responsibility.  Simply put, our focus is to be on Jesus and on Jesus alone.  I think of playing “follow the leader” as a child.  Jesus is working, walking, leading.  Our job is to follow, wherever He may lead.
