Good morning!
Text:  John 4-6; Psalm 137
John is a treasure trove of Scripture truth!  There is so much in every chapter that to just pick a verse or two for comment is very hard.  In today’s reading, the story of how Jesus healed a man who had been an invalid for thirty eight years got my attention, especially Jesus’ approach to the man:

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” (John 5:6)

What about our own struggles?  We are held back by patterns of thinking, fears and worries, habitual sins, physical limitations and more.  Jesus has the power to set us free from all of these things, even if it would take a miracle.  Perhaps in your struggles you have given up (for me, thirty eight years might do the trick).  Or maybe you have allowed yourself to grow comfortable – “This is just the way I am.”  What has you captive?  The question Jesus asks is huge.  “Do you want to be healed?”  If Jesus asked you today, how would you answer Him?
in Him, Mike
