Cupcake Wars 2025

Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm

Eastford Elementary School
12 Westford Road, Eastford

All are welcome to attend, taste cupcakes, and cast votes for the People’s Choice Award!

General Contest Rules

1. You may enter in one or both categories. (Recipe and/or Display)

2. Only one (1) entry per category per contestant.

3. Entrant must be same person who made the cupcakes.

4. Entrants must be present to win.

5. Entry registration deadline is Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Recipe Contest Rules

1. Prepare 12 regular cupcakes OR 24 mini cupcakes OR 48 Mini cupcakes. (3/6/9 of these cupcakes will be presented to the Judges, the remainder stay at your table as samples for Peoples’ Choice voting)

2. Recipe must be from scratch.

3. Judging will be based on aroma, flavor, texture & appearance.

4. Provide two (2) ingredient lists.

5. Optional – provide recipe for viewing.

Display Contest Rules

1. Prepare and present three (3) identical cupcakes. (Two will go to the judges; one will stay at your table for Peoples’ Choice voting.)

2. Entire cupcake and decoration must be 100% edible (all made from edible food items).

3. Judging will be based on appearance, creativity, uniformity and originality.

4. Multi-cupcake designs are not permitted.

Prizes

1. Judged Awards given to the Winners and Runners-Up of each age group/category.

2. People’s Choice Award given to the Winners of each age group/category.
