2/7/24

Good morning!

Today is a reflection day.
In Exodus 34, the Lord passes before Moses in response to Moses’ request when he said, “Please, show me your glory.”
The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty…” (Exodus 34:6-7).
This is beautiful.  The Lord tells us His character here, and he leads with the good stuff (for us).  He declares His mercy, grace, patience, love and faithfulness.  The fact that He is also just and will condemn the guilty seems almost an afterthought.  Our God is like no other.  Today, praise Him for who He is, and be grateful for His mercy, grace, love, patience and the fact that He keeps His every promise.
