Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
It is Christmastime and we will soon celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We decorate with lights in this dark time of the year. Jesus is the light of the world, and He told us that we, too, are the light of the world. Isaiah 49:6 says this about God’s people:
I will make you as a light for the nations,
that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.
This is our assignment – to bring the light of God’s salvation to the end of the earth. In the checkout line we are the light. At our family gatherings, we are the light. At our outreach events, we are the light. When we prayerfully make decisions about year-end giving to missions… we are the light. May we shine brightly for Jesus!
