Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
If you are new to this Bible reading schedule, it typically assigns readings for six days in a row, then has a “reflection day.” When I am on schedule, I use this day to skim back over the previous days’ text and reflect on what I have read. Sometimes something I underlined catches my eye again and I hear the Lord speak. Other times, I use the reflection day to get caught up if I am behind.
Today, Psalm 3:3 caught my attention:
But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head.
What encouraging words. The Lord protects us. The Lord gives us purpose and meaning, and leads us into His glory. And the Lord lifts us up.
