Good morning!
Text: Revelation 5-6; Isaiah 58
Revelation chapters 4-5 are rich with images of the goings on in heaven – the majesty and the worship and the praise for God and for the Lamb, Jesus. Consider this:
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
This is the worship in heaven – ongoing right now – of Jesus, the same Jesus who came as a little baby, born to a peasant girl in a nothing little village. May our voices join the “myriads and myriads and thousands of thousands” as we praise Jesus.
