Good morning!
Text: 1 Thessalonians 3-5; Psalm 14

I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving holiday later this week.  Our celebration can begin now, and continue afterward – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 calls us to a lifestyle of joy, prayer and gratitude:

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

In fact we are called to a lifestyle of joy, prayer and gratitude.  Thanksgiving will be festive for many, but we get to give thanks today, tomorrow and every day. He is always there for us, and we have the privilege of prayer, every day, every hour.  And we are to thank Him for everything – the good and the bad.  All that we have has come from Him.  He is a good God who loves us with immeasurable love.  We all have so much to thank the Lord for. We have salvation in Jesus, the breath of life, we live in a safe and beautiful land, we have one another, and so much more.  Thanks be to God!
in Him, Mike
