Good morning!
Text:  Nehemiah 11-13; Psalm 119:33-48
We live in a time and culture that is saturated with images to look at.  Our lives are spent before interactive screens lavished with high definition images and graphics of all sorts.  I know I spend entirely too much time looking at things on the Internet.  Consider these words:
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things;
    and give me life in your ways.  (Psalm 119:37)
The creation of God is beautiful as it reflects His glory in so many ways.  It is good and refreshing to look and see.  Then there are the “worthless things.”  Coarse, ugly, worldly, and perhaps also attractive to the eye and heart.  The Word here is a cry to the Lord to help us turn our eyes away from the worthless.  When we do, He gives us life – life in His ways.  So – what are we looking at?
