Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
In our dark and sorrow filled world, the Word of God can bring such blessing –
Light is sown for the righteous,
and joy for the upright in heart. (Psalm 97:11)
If you are in Jesus, then you are righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21). We are the ones who are able to be upright in heart – as Jesus has given us new hearts. So, the promise of these words is for us. We have light, sown for us, that grows and brings fruit. Light that defeats the darkness. And we have joy – that lasts and lasts. Joy that sweeps sorrow away. Good news in today’s world, amen?
