Good morning!

Text: 2 Chronicles 16-18; Psalm 105
Amid the tales of the Hebrew kings, some good, some bad, we can find some gemstones of truth about our great God.  Here is one from the story of King Asa of Judah:

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

As the Lord searches the world for the ones whom He will provide “strong support”, wouldn’t it be great to know that He would notice you and me?   The word here translated “blameless” more fully means “wholeheartedly committed”.  The standard is not so much about our behavior, but about our heart.  Are you fully given over to the Lord?  Are you committed to Him no matter what?  If so, you can expect His “strong support.”  And boy is He strong.
