Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
I recently read a study that suggests that the area we live in is surrounded by the most “post-Christian” cities in America. Indeed, the soil is rocky and hard to farm for the Gospel in New England. But all that means is that odds are very good that when we speak with someone at the store, in the neighborhood, at the gym, at work or at school, they do not know Jesus. We live in a rich mission field with an abundance of people who need what we have – the Good News. As Jesus said,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2)
I cannot think of a better reason or a more clear call to pray. Will you?
in Him, Mike
