Our daily time in the Word of God is like food for our inmost parts – our very souls. By His Word He speaks directly to us, changes us, motivates and encourages us. I hope you are reading along with us.
We have just concluded Ecclesiastes, a book of wisdom for life. The central theme is that our lives only matter where they intersect with the Lord. It is often is easiest to find the Lord in the simple things. I love this verse:
Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun. (Ecclesiastes 11:7)
Yesterday’s sunshine, this morning’s daylight and the life to even observe them are gifts from our great God. It is good to be alive and good to be grateful to the Lord for His every provision. Keep reading!
