Good morning!

Today is a reflection day.
Many of you know that I am a surfer and a blue water sailor.  Psalm 93:4 is a Christian surfer’s favorite:

Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the Lord on high is mighty!

For surfers, ocean waves are the source of fun and challenge, and occasionally fear and danger. For ancient near eastern people, the sea was a source of fear and fascination (they were desert folk).  The great waves and continuous restlessness of the sea symbolized things that were frightening and beyond human controlling.
It is marvelous that our great God, the Lord on high, is mightier than the greatest natural force we can see or imagine.  It is wonderful to know that He is in control of every chaos, wise beyond any confusion, and able to calm the fiercest storm.  Praise the Lord!
in Him, Mike
