Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
When the ark of the covenant is brought into Jerusalem, there is great celebration.
And David danced before the Lord with all his might. (2 Samuel 6:14)
Imagine the scene. The conquering king is exulting in His God. The Hebrew word for dancing here literally means “whirling around.” David is pulling the stops out to express his joy before the Lord, acknowledging that God has done such great things. The nation is united, the foes are defeated, and God is establishing His holy city.
So, what about us, today? Do we rejoice like this when we consider that God has done great things in our time and lives?
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24
Anybody feel like dancing?
