Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
It is a beautiful spring morning. The green of the grass in our New England spring is so lush and intense. Consider these words from Psalm 65:12-13:
The pastures of the wilderness overflow,
the hills gird themselves with joy,
the meadows clothe themselves with flocks,
the valleys deck themselves with grain,
they shout and sing together for joy.
It is good to start the day with songs of joy. Our great God gives us such abundance. And Jesus has made it possible for us to have abundant life (John 10:10). Today is a fresh new day – one we can celebrate, shout and sing for joy even as the meadows and the valleys do. Today is a day for abundant living. Amen.
