Good morning.
Today is a reflection day.
The Psalms are poetry and they are truth. They cast images before us and they touch our emotions. Psalm 43:3 prompted my imagination:
Send out your light and your truth;
let them lead me;
let them bring me to your holy hill
and to your dwelling!
The picture in my mind is of being out in the forest at night, perhaps in the rain, certainly in need of a warm and safe place. The Lord sends out light and truth and they find me wandering, illuminate my path, and bring me to His very residence. It is grand, glorious and magnificent. Inside is not only the warmth and refuge I seek, but also His holy presence, overwhelming worship, splendor and awe. I am amazed that God’s Word can take me on such a journey.
