Good morning!

Today is a reflection day.
What sweet blessings are found in Isaiah.  Isaiah 40:3 says;

A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God….

These words, written 750 years before Jesus, prophecy the ministry of John the Baptist.  Our God comes to us in unlikely ways.  We expect the King to arrive at the palace.  We expect the prophet to cry out at the temple.  Jesus came in a small town, born in a stable.  John the Baptist proclaims the arrival of the Kingdom in the desert wilderness.  We are reminded to expect Him when we least expect Him.  Do you see Him at work in the “ordinary” slices of life?   Expect.  Watch.
