Good morning!
Text:  John 10-12; Psalm 139
What marvelous passages we read today!  In John 10, Jesus uses the metaphor of a shepherd and his sheep to help us understand our relationship to Him.  He is the Good Shepherd.  He lays down His life for us, the sheep of His hand.  He leads us and protects us.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (John 10:27-28)

These words of intimate connection and everlasting security in Jesus fulfill the beautiful images of Psalm 139 (read it aloud).
Do you hear Jesus’ voice (He is speaking even now through His Word, the Bible)?  Isn’t it wonderful that Jesus knows you?  Are you following Him?  And, do you live in the light of eternity and security?
in Him, Mike
