Good morning!
Text: Deuteronomy 31-34; Psalm 49
“The eternal God is your dwelling place,and underneath are the everlasting arms.”(Deuteronomy 33:27)
What wonderful words. Our great God, who is eternal, is where we live. He is the place of our dwelling, our residence. And His everlasting arms are beneath us – giving us support, strength, and victory. At the end of a stressful day, what relief the truth here can bring. When facing a great challenge, maybe even a fearsome one, what confidence comes from this truth. This marvelous truth reminds us that when we stumble or fall, or when we are cast down by an enemy, we cannot fall too far. We can never fall beyond his reach to rescue and restore us. Our God is amazing!
