Good morning!
Text: Numbers 31-33; Psalm 37:1-22
The Lord gives us instruction in Psalm 37 as to how we might know His will and how we might live for Him. This verse makes me think:
Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
These words from a closed circle. When we delight ourselves in the Lord, our heart lines up with His. When that happens, what we desire is the same as what He desires for us. So we receive what we want. So, what is the secret to receiving the desires of our hearts? Cultivating our delight in the Lord. Here are some ideas: Praise Him this day. Give Him thanks for all that He has provided. Consider His great love. Think upon Jesus’ incredible sacrifice. “Delight yourself in the Lord.”
