whilring wheels
Good morning!
Text:  Ezekiel 8-11; Isaiah 37
Ezekiel chapter 10 has some unusual visions of heavenly beings sent to burn Jerusalem.  Of course, the historical truth is that Jerusalem was sacked and burned by the Babylonians in 586 B.C.  What we see is the unseen spiritual realm.  And… it is weird:

“And their whole body, their rims, and their spokes, their wings, and the wheels were full of eyes all around—the wheels that the four of them had. As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing “the whirling wheels.”  And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was a human face, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.” (Ezekiel 10:12-14)

Two thoughts to ponder.  There is a great and unseen reality in the spiritual realm behind every human experience.  What do you suppose is going on around us right now?  And, the reality of things beyond our sight is also beyond our imagining.  The things of our God are wondrous and mysterious and unsearchable.  Praise Him!
