Good morning!
Text:  Ezekiel 27-30; Psalm 127
Ezekiel 28 contains a curious passage about the “King of Tyre.”  It is filled with supernatural references such that many scholars believe that it is a description of Satan rather than some earthly ruler.  It begins in 28:12:

“You were the signet of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty…”

And concludes in verse 19:

“…you have come to a dreadful end
and shall be no more forever.”

Satan’s beginnings are grand and wonderful – bright and beautiful among the angels. But, he fell into rebellion. He is a great and powerful adversary. But, make no mistake, He is a defeated adversary.  “Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.”
