Good morning!
Today is a reflection day.
Perhaps you have fallen behind in your reading.  Good news!  There are no new assignments until Monday, so you can get caught up.  But… maybe you are so far behind that you have given up.  I recommend a fresh start on Monday, June 1st.  Read what is on the schedule that day and just move on.
Looking back over the past week or so of reading, Proverbs 27:17 came into view:
Iron sharpens iron,
    and one man sharpens another.
It is simple truth that our relationships with others are used by God to sharpen us.  The clear challenge is to develop and maintain the sort of relationships where that indeed happens.  It means openness, honesty, trust, vulnerability, love, courage and even tough words.  If we are to be sharpened to a finely honed edge – powerful and dangerous – sparks will have to fly.
So – can you name a few close Christian brothers or sisters who you relate to like this?  If not, it’s time to find one or two…
in Him,  Mike
