Mar 21Good morning!

Today is a reflection day, a good day to review recent reading or get caught up if you need to.

Psalm 40 opens with one of my favorite passages – a beautiful portrait of our worship.  The God for whom we wait hears us when we call to Him.  He rescues us, and our salvation becomes the fount of our worship.  He gives us a song to sing, and it is contagious – “many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.”  Our worship begins with our understanding of our salvation.

The last verse(40:17)  is a great reminder for our every day.  “As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me.  You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!”  We are always poor.  We are always needy.  But He is always thinking of me.  What an amazing God!
