Text: Reflection Day
This reading schedule only goes through the 28th of each month. I like that when I am behind, as I can get caught up. I don’t like this feature when I am on track, as I need the routine of being in the Word every day. No matter which is your circumstance, make sure and spend time in the Word today.
I have been contemplating yesterday’s reading in Psalm 23. What a beautiful piece of literature, and what profound truth about our great God and how He cares for us. He provides for us, leads us, protects and corrects us. What’s more, as a shepherd is to the sheep, He knows the plan when we do not, He sees the dangers when we cannot, He can rescue us when we are captive, and He will gather into a safe place at the end of the day.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.He leads me in paths of righteousnessfor his name’s sake.
in Him, Mike
