Text: Psalms 102-104
It is good to worship the Lord. In fact our whole lives as Christians should be worship. What we do, what we say, how we think, what we sing, how we relate to people – all these ought to worship God and point others to Him. His Word and our interaction with it is central to our lives of worship.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name! (Psalm 103:1)
To read Psalm 103 in its entirety is a great way to center the heart on him, to bring our inmost parts into a place and attitude of worship. Many of you know that our son died just a day ago. Today’s reading in the Psalms was a great and wonderful balm for my soul. I read Psalm 103 aloud. I recommend that you do the same. May it bring you spiritual delight!
in Him, Mike
