Good morning!

Text:  Job 31-33; Isaiah 6
Isaiah 6 opens with the prophet’s remarkable vision of the throne room of God.  The awesome and frightening presence of God brings Isaiah under conviction of sin, he confesses the same, and he is forgiven.  Then the Lord utters a calling to which Isaiah responds:

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

If we are in Christ, then we have been touched by God, heard His Gospel and have been made clean by His grace.  The Lord has a plan and a calling upon each of our lives.  He has prepared good works for each of is to do (Ephesians 2:10).  The question before us each is whether we have heard His call and said “Here I am! Send me.”  So… have you?
in Him, Mike
