Good morning!

Today is a reflection day.
Colossians 4:2-3 speak these words to us:

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ…

This week a group of us will play board games with young students at the Eastford School.  It is a lot of fun.  As we do this, we are forming new friendships and deepening established relationships with the kids as well as faculty and staff at the school.  We are doing this in the Name of Jesus, but the venue, a public school, means that if the Gospel is going to flow it must wait.  So we put our hope in the Lord – and we pray “that God may open a door for us.”   And He does just that.
Today, might you join us in this prayer?  And, if you see a door, try turning the knob.  Who knows but that the Lord might open it for you to share Jesus.
in Him, Mike
