Good morning!
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
Jesus lived, died, rose again, ascended into heaven, and He is there right now. He has promised to come back, but He is not here yet. In our life as followers of Jesus we must always remember that we are part of the Body of Christ. We are His hands, eyes, feet, and voice here on earth. As followers of Jesus, our task here on earth is to continue His mission – “to seek and to save the lost.” This is the main thing. So, in our life today, are lost people the main thing? Do we seek after them… to meet and befriend them? Is their salvation our biggest priority? If not, then what is? I recently came across these words in the mission statement of a new church in Connecticut; “We will regularly and unashamedly sacrifice the comfort of our members for the opportunity to reach those far from God.” Wow.
